Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and compassionate Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team!

As an Occupational Therapist, you will address patient's aspects of performance to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life quality. You will develop personalized treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to improve mobility, strength, and overall function. Fusion Rehab and Wellness head quarters are based out of Louisville, CO. Position requires willingness to cover multiple locations including Louisville, Lafayette, and Longmont.

Initial position is PRN with potential to expand to part-time/full-time in the future!

Duties

-Select and adapt the treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventions

-Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)

-Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components

-Assess patients home and other environments and advice on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities

-Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use

-Guide and educate family members and caregivers

-Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals

Qualifications

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

- Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist

- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
