Driver Rehabilitation Professional

I own a growing driver rehabilitation company and am looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join the team and help meet the increasing needs of our community.

This role begins with completing clinical driving assessments in clients’ homes. You would manage your own scheduling and work independently while receiving mentorship, shadowing opportunities, and formal training through Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED), the national organization for driver rehabilitation professionals.

Through this training process, you will gain the education and experience needed to become a Driver Rehabilitation Professional, allowing you to complete both clinical and behind-the-wheel driver assessments.

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed OT or OTA (or any Allied Health Provider)
• Strong communication and clinical observation skills; clinical experience a plus
• Comfortable working independently in the community
• Passion for helping individuals maintain independence and mobility
• Interest in driver rehabilitation and adaptive driving
